Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Naratifs at naratifs.com, run by PT Aplikasi Naratifs Indonesia, a company in Indonesia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Naratifs, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in safe.
• Your boards are encrypted with your passphrase. Keep your passphrase and recovery key safe: if you lose both, we cannot open your workspace or get it back for you.
• You need to be at least 13 years old to use Naratifs.

Your content

What you put on your boards stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, sync and deliver it to you and to the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to what you upload and share.

Acceptable use

Do not use Naratifs to:

• break the law or anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
• send spam, or invite or email people who did not ask for it;
• spread malware, or try to break into, overload or get around the security of Naratifs or its users;
• share content that exploits children, or that threatens or harasses others.

We may suspend an account that does, and remove access to content we are told is unlawful.

A board you publish to the web is yours too, and so is what it shows: publish only what you have the right to, and nothing about other people they have not agreed to. Anyone can report a page from it, and we may take down one that breaks these terms. The Free plan has one published page; Plus has as many as you like.

A form you publish is yours: you are responsible for what it asks and for the answers it collects, including telling the people who fill it in what you will do with their answers, as the law on personal data asks. Do not use a form to collect passwords or payment card numbers. Anyone can report a form from its page; we may take down one that breaks these terms. The Free plan has one form, taking 100 answers a month; Plus has no such limits.

You can report a message, a person or a shared board from the app itself (Report… in a chat, Report This Board in Share, Report Answer under a Kitt's answer), and block anyone so they can no longer chat with you or share boards with you. Boards and chats are end-to-end encrypted, so we see only what a report includes. We look at every report and may warn, suspend or delete an account, or report it to the authorities when the law asks us to.

Plans and payments

• Naratifs has a Free plan and a paid plan, Plus; what each holds and what Plus costs are on the Pricing page. Prices are in US dollars, shown in Indonesian rupiah by default and paid in rupiah at the day’s exchange rate, rounded up to Rp1.000, shown before you pay and on the payment page; the rupiah of an order are fixed when it is made. No VAT (PPN) is added to them. If that changes, the Pricing page says so before you pay.
• Plus is paid in advance for a month or a year through Xendit, our payment provider, and starts once the payment is confirmed. It does not renew on its own; paying again before it ends adds the time after the time you have.
• When Plus ends, nothing you made is deleted: you can still open, change, export and delete it, and the Free plan's limits apply to what you add next.
• Kitt credits pay for Kitt’s own models (Kitt 1 Mini, Kitt 1 and Kitt Auto, which picks one of the two for each answer; now in a closed trial): a balance in US dollars, bought for $5 or more on the Kitt Credits page through Xendit (paid in rupiah as above), from which each answer takes its price. When you let the people of a shared board ask a Kitt of yours on Kitt’s own models, their answers take their price from your credits too, within the daily limit you set for each. With Plus you are given $1 of credits each calendar month. Credits do not expire, are for your account only and cannot be exchanged for money except under the Refund Policy.
• Calling your Kitts is part of Plus. A call takes its price from your Kitt credits as it goes: three times what it costs us to carry, and never less than its minutes at the model’s lowest rate. It ends when your credits run out and after 15 minutes at most.
• Kitt Platform (platform.mykitt.id, now in a closed trial) lets you call Kitt’s own models from your own app with API keys you make there. Each call takes its price from the same Kitt credits, at the prices its documentation lists. Keep your keys secret: you are responsible for the calls made with them, so revoke a key you think others have. What your app sends must follow these Terms, as anything you ask Kitt in Naratifs does.
• An organisation or a campus buys seats for its people, each a Plus for the person in it, on its own page; the person who makes it is its owner and answers for its payments and for whom it invites. Seats are paid in advance for a month or a year (a campus by the year), or added for the rest of the time paid for; a campus price is only for a place of learning. Its owners and admins manage its people, seats and invoices but cannot open anyone's boards. When someone leaves or is removed, or the organisation is deleted or stops paying, the Plus its seat gave ends and the Free plan's limits apply as above; their own boards stay theirs.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
• We may change prices; a change never affects time you have already paid for, and we announce it first.

AI features

Kitt uses AI services you choose, often on your own key. Those services have their own terms and prices, and you are responsible for the use and cost of your keys. AI can be wrong: check what it writes and does before you rely on it.

Other services

Signing in with Google, Apple or Facebook, and connecting Google, Microsoft or other apps to cards, are governed by those services' own terms as well.

The service

We work to keep Naratifs running and your data safe, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. Keep copies of what matters to you. We may change or end features, and will tell you in advance of changes that affect you significantly.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you could not open because a passphrase and recovery key were lost.

Ending

You can stop using Naratifs and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Deleting your account). We may end an account that breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Changes

When these terms change, we update the date at the top and tell you of significant changes before they apply.
